Laurence Christie Edwardson Painting
Laurence Christie Edwardson was born in Waltham, Massachusetts in 1904 and lived part of his life in Kensington, Connecticut. Much of his painting career was spent in New England and New Orleans, Louisiana. His work includes many Louisiana landscapes, portraits and religious subjects; and his work is in the Historic New Orleans Collection. This is an extremely interesting modernist work which reminds one of Arthur Dove and Rockwell Kent, two other American modernists.
